J. Pablo Arnoletti, MD, FACS graduated from the University of Republic Medical School in Montevideo, Uruguay. He completed his general surgery residency at MCP-Hahnemann University and a Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Barr was educated at the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC and trained as a general surgery intern and first-year resident at Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. He completed his residency training at Temple University in Philadelphia and went on to fellowship training at the National Cancer Institute, Surgery Branch of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda.
Sebastian G. de la Fuente, MD graduated from the University of Salvador school of Medicine in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He completed his general surgery residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC and a surgery oncology fellowship at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute.
Dr. Eubanks came to Florida Hospital in September of 2010 as the Director of Academic Surgery. Dr. Eubanks is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine and was trained in General Surgery at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta.
Dr. Evans is board certified in general surgery and specializes in acute care surgery, the management of traumatic injury and critical care medicine. He serves as a dedicated inpatient general surgeon and critical care specialist who can perform an array of laparoscopic and minimally-invasive surgical procedures.
Dr. Harmon joined the faculty of The Center for Specialized Surgery at Florida Hospital in April of 2007. She obtained her MD degree from Medical University of South Carolina and did her surgical residency at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.
Dr. Miner joined the faculty of The Center for Specialized Surgery at Florida Hospital in September of 2007 following the completion of her fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Florida Hospital. Dr. Miner was a member of the first graduating class of that fellowship program.
Dr. Portoghese has been a member of the medical staff of Florida Hospital since 1989 and was President of the Medical Staff from 2004-2006. As Florida Hospital moved forward into the medical education arena, Dr. Portoghese was selected to become Program Director of the General Surgery Residency Program, which was first accredited in 2006.
Dr. Simmonds joined The Center for Specialized Surgery at Florida Hospital in August of 2006 and was the second member of the faculty to join the General Surgery Residency Program. Dr. Simmonds obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health.
